YOGA RETREATS 

A yoga retreat is a withdrawal to focus on the practice of yoga.  The purpose of a retreat is to allow yogis to deepen their practice without the distractions of life. Yoga retreats are temporary breaks from daily routines, which typically last between a weekend and a week. With the guidance of an instructor, yogis learn to let go of distractions, as they immerse themselves in asana, meditation and pranayama practices. The retreat may also focus on eating habits, and the practice of ayurveda to improve overall physical and spiritual health, as well as instruction in yogic philosophy.

“Celebrate the Divine You” was so much more than I had anticipated.  Valentina had thought of every detail. The style and length of our yoga sessions were just right and the music so soothing. I loved the way Valentina wove the stories of Indonesian culture and traditions through the  classes.  The venue and location were perfect - a peaceful oasis, but close enough to shops and cafes if you needed to explore a little further.  I really appreciated the way Valentina regularly checked in with everyone and made adjustments to scheduled outings if she felt people were too tired or wanted more down time.  I felt so well cared for.  I would definitely recommend anyone considering a yoga retreat to take the journey with Valentina.  The preparation and research she invests has me eagerly awaiting her next one.

I loved your Bali yoga retreat! To be immersed in a week of yoga, meditation, chanting, organic eating, spa treatments, swimming, temple visits, monkey forests, rice paddies, motorcycle rides , in the warmth and magic of Bali was fantastic.   The daily program had just the right amount of yoga, organised activities and personal time to enjoy what ever took your fancy.

Everything was taken care of for us.  All we had to do was sit back and relax and enjoy.  And we did.

I recently attended my first ever “yoga retreat”,in Ubud, Bali with Valentina as teacher and tour guide

i was a little bit apprehensive but quickly got into the groove and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had the place we stayed was amazing, great food and beautiful rooms and gardens. But it was the vibrancy and energy of Valentina that made the trip a standout! She is a great yoga teacher who can cater to everyone's level and needs, but also brings her obvious love of what she’s doing to the fore. Every session was amazing. She also filled our days with well organised tours to waterfalls and temples, or as the rules were ”everything was optional”.  If another opportunity to do the same comes up ,I'll be keen as to go again. Valentina also has a great quirky sense of humour so it was so easy to bond as a group, and after a week of yoga heaven we all returned home as friends.
